Overview
'Uncommon Ground' exhibits a diverse body of work by ten of the SDC's established and emerging makers. It celebrates a commitment to excellence while showcasing how members interpret and reinterpret craft for today. For over a century, the SDC has been a prominent advocate for exceptional craftsmanship and the exploration of materials and skills.

Textile artist Emma Rosa explores her unique and innovative process, capturing the uncommon and unseen moments in nature whilst pushing the boundaries of fabric and thread manipulation.

Join Metalsmith, Caitlin Murphy, and Ceramic Artist, Kayley Holderness, as they explore how unconventional materials, experimental methods and changes in personal practice are shaping their contribution to contemporary craft.
