Overview
Textile and embroidery artist Ksenia Semirova will be demonstrating her work and delivering a hands-on workshop as part of the ROSA Heritage Craft Hall at the three-day medieval festival.
Over the weekend, Ksenia will demonstrate how she creates textile jewellery using the pearl setting technique, a heritage embroidery method involving the structured stitching of beads and pearls.
She will also run a drop-in workshop for adult visitors to create a multi-strand bracelet, inspired by historical necklace styles once worn across Northern and Eastern Europe. No previous experience is needed, and participants will leave with a unique, handmade piece.
