New Designers is an annual exhibition that showcases the work of emerging design talent across a wide range of disciplines.

Join SDC Fellows Kayley Holderness and Dan Maier, together with representatives from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) for an engaging conversation on the value of collaboration, professional development, and community within the crafts sector.
Drawing on their lived experiences, the speakers will explore the opportunities and challenges faced by newly graduated designers and makers, sharing insights into building professional networks, developing creative careers, and learning through peer support and shared experiences. This discussion offers valuable perspectives for emerging practitioners looking to establish themselves and thrive within the design and craft community.

SDC will be awarding a partner prize for 'Outstanding Innovation in Craft & Design' judged and awarded by SDC Fellows Sumi Perera, Patricia Spero and Kayley Holderness.
