Overview
In collaboration with Claire Pearce at Thrown Contemporary, State of Clay have been invited to hold a two hour pottery workshop, 11am-1pm, set within the gallery space. Participants will have the opportunity to experience a session throwing miniature porcelain ceramic works on a small wheel.

In collaboration with Claire Pearce at Thrown Contemporary Gallery, State of Clay have been invited to hold a two hour pottery workshop, 11am-1pm, set within the gallery space. Participants will have the opportunity to experience a session throwing miniature porcelain ceramic works on a small wheel, decorated with coloured slips. Pieces will be fired in an electric kiln after the event (items will be posted to participants once finished, UK postage included only) to high stoneware 1260C temperature. Items are capable of holding water, food and they are frost proof for outside use if desired.
