Society Member, Janice Gunner, exhibits her piece "Buru a koete/Beyond Blue". A cube, each face in a shibori technique and hand stitch, pays homage to indigo dye masters in Japan.
Overview
The exhibition of miniature work made following a research visit to Japan. It includes work from 18 UK and 9 Japanese participants and is curated by Professor Lesley Millar MBE, Director of the International Textile Research Centre. A limited, numbered edition catalogue is a available.
