Handmade in Britain/SDC Partner Prizes

We are delighted to introduce our newest members, ceramicist Christina Feltham recipient of our Handmade in Britain /SDC partner prize for 'Outstanding Innovation in Craft & Design' and Furniture designer/maker Ellis James Stacey, recipient of the 'Outstanding Emerging Designer-Maker'.

The prizes, which include a year’s membership to the SDC and the opportunity to exhibit in the Society's 2025 exhibition were judged at Handmade Oxford by SDC fellows Jane White and Joseph Bray.

There were two stand out furniture makers being judged at the show and both Jane and Joe felt that the runner up, Richard Parr of The Stripey Fox Workshop should receive a special commendation.
