New Designers Partner Prize: Outstanding Innovation in Craft & Design
SDC is delighted to welcome new member and award winner Phil Berczuk LSDC
We are delighted to introduce our new member, designer and maker, Phil Berczuk,. He is the recipient of our partner prize for 'Outstanding Innovation in Craft and Design', part of our New Designers 2026 initiative
The prize, which includes free Licentiate membership of the SDC for two years as well as the opportunity to exhibit alongside SDC members, was judged by SDC fellows Kayley Holderness, Sumi Perera and Patricia Spero.
Phil's creative practice sits at the intersection of the natural and the constructed. His work is inspired by organic forms, raw materials and elemental processes, as well as the geometry and texture of the built environment - transforming these influences into singular pieces of hand crafted, sculptural furniture.
