Tiffany Scull is being featured in the current issue of Ceramic Review both in print and a film online.

As part of the Woodland Trust WW1 centenary project at Langley Vale, Epsom, Surrey, Society Fellow Andrew Lapthorn was commissioned by the Woodland Trust to design and build a memorial to the 14 British warships along with the lives of 5666 crew members whose lives were lost at the Battle of Jutland, 31 May - 1 June 1916. It was the last major battle in world history fought primarily by battleships.

Society announces a new Chair of the Council

Kate Mason has been announced as the new Chair of the Society of Designer Craftsmen. Kate takes over as Chair from Kayley Holderness FSDC who has been Interim Chair for the last 12 months.

Society Member Fergus Wessel has just published a new book called Headstones- Advice and Inspiration. The book is being sold to raise money for Maggie's Cancer Care Charity and is one of the few publications in the UK which offers advice and ideas for choosing a headstone.
