We are delighted to announce that glass artist and SDC Hon. Fellow Peter Layton will be appearing on Desert Island Discs.
Peter Layton has been at the forefront of British studio glass since the 1970s, contributing more than most to its promotion and burgeoning success. For half a century, 'London Glassblowing' has been at the forefront of studio glassmaking, nurturing emerging and established talents while cultivating audiences for this relatively undiscovered medium.
Peter will appear on Desert Island Discs on BBC Radio 4 on Sunday, 7 June at 10am, then again on Friday, 12 June at 9am.
