The John Ruskin Prize

We are delighted to announce that two SDC members have been shortlisted for the 8th Ruskin Art Prize.

We are delighted that ceramicist Bridget Tennent and glass artist Cathryn Shilling have both been shortlisted for the John Ruskin Prize.

The John Ruskin Prize, the fastest growing multi-disciplinary art prize in the UK, with values of the polymath John Ruskin at its core. It showcases talent in all media, encouraging interdisciplinary works responding to this years theme 'Patience in Looking, Truth in Making'.

The exhibition of selected work will take place from Thursday 29th January to Saturday 21st February, 2026 at Trinity Buoy Wharf, London.

It is free to visit and will be open Wednesday to Sunday each week, from 11-5pm on weekdays and 10-5pm at the weekends.
