Ksenia Semirova is a couture embroidery artist who blends heritage techniques with contemporary design. Originally trained in industrial design, she pursued an MA in Textiles at the University of Brighton, graduating with a distinction. Her practice explores embroidery as a dynamic art form, merging precision with creative expression.

Ksenia specializes in intricate hand embroidery, working with silk, beads, and structured forms to push the boundaries of traditional craftsmanship. Inspired by history, fashion, and materiality, her work reflects themes of duality—strength and delicacy, structure and movement.

Driven by a desire to keep embroidery relevant in a modern context, she reinterprets traditional methods for today’s world. Her work has been exhibited across the UK and Europe, connecting with audiences who appreciate craftsmanship, individuality, and the enduring beauty of handmade art.
