Simple lines, graceful curves and strong, confident forms comprise Martyn Pugh’s designs. Underpinning them are control, attention to detail and mastery over material. His inspiration is “rooted in the purity of natural form, combined with the man-made geometry of engineering and architecture.” Whether silversmithing or jewellery, he makes to exacting standards and requirements.

Martyn specialises in commissioned silverware and jewellery, and enjoys distilling his client’s ideas into precise hand-drawn sketches. His work can be found in the Silver Trust at 10 Downing Street, the Goldsmiths’ Company collections and many other prestigious institutions.

Whilst working in Gold, Silver Platinum, Diamonds, Pearls and coloured stones, Martyn has recently pioneered the use of Palladium and micro-alloyed Gold for tableware. Whatever the project or material, Martyn’s experience, skills and innate inquisitiveness combine to produce dynamic and flamboyant designs.
