Overview
Joy Trpkovic's work is inspired by wild coasts, deep ancient history of landscape and the power of sea to shape and erode. Hand built and delicate porcelains strive for ethereal fragility in a risky medium. Natural forms animate or inanimate, strata, shells, bones, and fossils are catalysts for her ideas.
Her porcelain pieces also form part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Ceramics in Alcora, Spain and also Southampton City Museum and art gallery.
