Weaving Colour Workshop
A one day practical workshop with Society Fellow Charlotte Grierson exploring how colour works in weaving. This workshop covers colour theory and then applies it in weaving.
Overview
Taking colour theory and using it in a very practical way to explore how colours behave when woven together in different ways.
Starting with paperwork to examine how colours react to one another, in this workshop you will go on to work on an 8 shaft table loom, pre-warped to explore for yourself the colour theory.
Charlotte Grierson is an award winning weaver who has been teaching practical weaving for over 15 years. For many years she has handwoven scarves and is known for her use of colour.
