Books for machine knitters

Society member and textile designer Alison Dupernex MSDC has published two books for machine knitters.

In publishing these two books, Creative Machine Knitting and Machine Knitting Designing with Colour, Alison's aim was to document every item she had ever designed and knitted, plus some new ones. She wants to encourage all knitters, both hand and machine, to be creative. Detailing clearly her process so the reader can customise the designs, make them their own and so start their own design journey.

'Alison Dupernex's new book shares the absolute joy and excitement of machine knitting. Never before can we remember any professional machine knitwear designer generously sharing hundreds of design ideas, as well as passing on tips and advice.

Alison Dupernex's books open the door to a multitude of ideas. They are treasure troves overflowing with design ideas and stitch patterns to inspire.'
