Creative Residency at the V&A

Society member Jacqui Ramrayka has secured a full-time residency at the V&A Museum for the next 12 months.

Society member Jacqui Ramrayka is one of the new Adobe Creative Residents who have joined the V&A Museum as full-time residents, as part of the Adobe x Museums programme that was launched in June 2023.

Jacqui is a British-Guyanese ceramicist specialising in porcelain. Her work explores memory, grief and the Indo-Caribbean diasporic identity. She is one of three makers (the other two are illustrator Rachel Sale and costume designer Luca Bosani) who were chosen for the 12 month residency where they’ll get access to on-site studios, mentors within the industry, and in January 2025 their work will be on display at the museum.

During her residency, Jacqui will explore wider themes of diasporas, home and belonging, working with the V&A Schools programme.
