People's Choice Prize

Throughout 'Designer Craft, Tales in the Making' exhibition at Oxmarket Contemporary, visitors were invited to vote for their favourite piece in the show. After the final count of the huge number of votes, we are delighted to announce that the prize was awarded to Jessica Palmer MSDC for Slimbridge at Sunset.

Jessica said on being awarded the prize:

'Winning the People's Choice award is a wonderful honour. To be judged by your peers and by complete strangers means a great deal to me. I try to make artwork which sparks a bit of joy and is a nudge to look up and look around at our beautiful world. There is much we cannot see, much to lose and much to gain if we just shift our gaze.'
