Sheen Pottery Studio

Society member and potter Lindy Barletta MSDC has opened a new ceramic studio in South West London.

Lindy Barletta designs and makes functional and decorative ceramics. She has now opened her new ceramic studio and shares the joys of clay with the community.

'Sheen Pottery Studio' is based on the high street at 263 Upper Richmond Road West, London SW14 8QS. It includes a small but perfectly formed gallery & shop front, and is highly visible to all on the high street (including the crawling traffic passing by)!

The gallery shows a program of top contemporary UK makers, each having a solo exhibition for two to three months. Subscribers to the mailing list are invited to Private Views, talks and demonstrations by visiting potters. This keeps the gallery and high street exciting, colourful and interesting.

The shop sells Lindy's own work which includes wheel thrown stoneware & porcelain and functional & decorative ceramics for the home. Commissions are also taken.

The studio runs pottery classes and courses in small groups (max six) with expert tutors for both beginners and advanced potters.

There are a few places (via interview) for experienced potters wanting studio membership. The studio is a calm and creative oasis, is expertly equipped and run by potters passionate about sharing their craft.
