The Glass Prize - Highly Commended for Society Member Hannah Gibson

Society member Hannah Gibson was Highly Commended at the Open Glass Artists 2021 for her work - "Recycling Narratives, Whispering Sweet Nothings. A Shattered Past"

Hannah was delighted to receive the commendation in The Glass Prize 2021. The work was created using 100% recycled car windscreen glass to illustrate the human need to create something cohesive and calming out of disorder and chaos. Hannah has been experimenting with casting car windscreen glass for several years and she says it has been a labour of love to be able to incorporate this material into her work.
