SDC Celebrates Collaboration
We'd love you to join us on Saturday 18 April 2026 for 'SDC Celebrates Collaboration' – an inspirational day dedicated to exploring meaningful collaboration.
Overview
Hear from engaging speakers working in ceramics, wood and textiles, who bring diverse approaches and unique insights to collaborative working. From products to partnerships, communities to cross-pollination, discover how collaboration can create impact in powerful and unexpected ways.
As with all SDC events, we aim to spark curiosity, encourage conversation, and deepen appreciation for materials and craft. In addition to artist talks, there will be live demonstrations and a craft showcase where you can mingle with other makers and Craft enthusiasists over coffee.
Speakers:
Emma Lacey - ceramics
Christine Spencer MSDC - stitched textiles
Simon Jewell FSDC - box maker
Alice Kettle (Hon) FSDC - stitched textiles
Lunch and refreshments are included in the ticket price so advanced booking is essential for catering. If you're interested in joining the Society, this is also a great way to meet us!
