You're Invited! SDC Celebrates Discovering Your Process

The Society of Designer Craftsmen is excited to welcome you to our next in-person event on Saturday 10th May 2025. 'SDC Celebrates Discovering Your Process' - an inspiring day dedicated to craftsmanship, creativity, and the personal journeys behind the making.

Join us on Saturday 10th May 2025 in the beautiful setting of The Artworkers' Guild, London as we explore the stories of four talented makers from diverse craft disciplines:

Emma Rosa MSDC - mixed media botanical sculpture
Greg Kent - wood turning & sculpture
Kate Pasvol - fused glass
Ali Holloway MSDC - handwoven textiles

Each artist will share insights into their individual creative processes, how they discovered their unique approach, and how it continues to evolve.

SDC members who will be demonstrating their process on the day are:

Ksenia Semirova LSDC - embroidery
Margaret Jones FSDC - tapestry weaving
Sumi Perera FSDC
- printing & bookbinding
Kayley Holderness FSDC
- ceramics
Ali Holloway MSDC - handwoven textiles

As with all SDC events, we hope to spark curiosity, encourage conversation, and deepen appreciation for materials and craft. In addition to artist talks, there will be live demonstrations and a craft showcase.

Spaces are limited, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this celebration of making:
