Biography Back to top

After a period of time working in a drawing office as a draughtsman, which endorsed Kevin's 3D designing, he then pursued his love for woodturning which started at the age of sixteen and carries on to the present day. His work has developed by combing the natural beauty of the wood, texture, subtle surface tones, square and oblong forms. To create such forms Kevin experimented constantly with finishes, sharpening techniques, changing chisel angles plus incorporating different surface cutting techniques and the use of airbrushes. Kevin's workshop is situated on the Borde Hill Estate near Haywards Heath, West Sussex - he has been a resident there for the last twenty six years. With forty years experience he has set his woodturning knowledge to create work for galleries across the UK and exhibit at major craft events, parallel to that he has also set up woodturning courses at his Sussex workshop,
