Heidi Lichterman Honorary Fellow
Heidi creates wall hangings and wearable art in abstract patterns inspired by nature, out of pleasure and for clients worldwide. Originally from the US, she now lives close to Cambridge, UK, in a tranquil, English village. When she is not weaving in her studio, she is out riding her horses.
Wall hangings are her passion. They are usually large and suitable for use in corporate settings or large private houses and are made using silk and wire. Her scarves are individually designed and are woven from silk. Each is a signed artwork.
Heidi has exhibited internationally and her work is in major corporate and public collections around the world, including Tokyo, Singapore, Djakarta, Hong Kong, throughout the USA, and many locations in England.
Heidi is a Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and was Chairman for two terms, and annually co-curated the Society’s Show for 21 years.
