About Rosemary
Rosemary is a mixed media artist working mostly with textiles. She uses recycled materials such as plastic bags, wires from machinery, ropes from beach combing and discarded clothing. Rosemary also frequently dyes and screen prints the fabric for her work and embellishes with hand and machine embroidery.

Rosemary has worked extensively on marine themes, using knitted and stitched laminated plastic bags to highlight the pollution problem and also exploring the rhythms and textures of different oceans. Gardens and plants have also been a recurring subject, explored in an impressionist way.

HE Diploma in stitched textiles ( with distinction) studied 2002-2005

Gallery owner 1996-2008, putting on six exhibitions each year

Currently Chairman of Zero3 textile group, exhibiting in the UK, also France, Ireland and Germany
